(no subject)
So marching band is really hard. Not really marching band but my 50 pound baritone. I think I'm holding it wrong because 2 of my fingers are completely numb. Thats probably not good. Yesterday we marched for 6 hours because of the impending tropical strom. People kept yelling at me to keep my horn up but I literally could not do it. What was I thinking with the DCI thing? I can't even march for like 3 hours holding that thing up. Anyways I like the people around me for the most part.
I'm really nervous about clarinet auditions. I haven't been practicing, nothing unusual, but this time more than usual. Our first chair player isn't coming and all the grad students aren't playing. This is good and bad but it just makes me more nervous. I can't just play my way through this music. Its too hard for that. I need to get on the ball.
Everything is a mess but I'm ready for school to start on Monday and crew for that matter. Hope everyone is enjoying school!
