The Long Awaited "Next Post"
Hrm... Well, I've been working at a nursing home for about 5 months now, and I just got a raise and a promotion. Shweet! I'm rather pleased with myself at this point. I'm enjoying the new work, and also will be enjoying the increase at payday!
My kinda-sorta step-grandmother died this past week. She was only 66. She had cancer throughout her body. PLEASE DON'T SMOKE, PEOPLE! It was not a good way to go. And now she will be very missed.
My mom crashed her car. Now I'm back to driving everyone around all the time. Until we can afford another car, at least. But she's graduating in June and will be a nurse soon! Then we'll be rolling in the dollars!
My daughter's HI-larious. I like her alot. She does this thing where she tells me "NO!" all the freaking time. It's actually cute. Because the way she says "NO!" is really sweet. She's also beginning to climb everywhere. Which is less good. Because with increased climbing comes increased falling.
