Drumroll please.

Recently, due to the prompting of many, I entered three items into the Arkansas-Oklahoma State Fair Creative Arts Division. They were a baby afghan, a cap, and a purse. Needless to say, they were rather good, because I designed them. Last Sunday, I went to the fair with several of the people I'm living with to see the piggies, eat some cotton candy, and see how my items stood up to scrutiny. I am now the proud owner of two blue (first place) ribbons, and one purple (Best in Show) ribbon. Woo-hoo! And when I pick up my stuff on Monday, I'm supposed to be getting a premium check. That is, reward money. That is, someone paying me for my crocheting and not even wanting to keep it. This is what a happy hooker looks like.

P.S. When I refer to myself as a hooker, I don't mean I'm a prostitute. Hooker is slang for crocheter, duh.
