FOOD QUESTION:
for those of you who are living on your own and/or cooking for yourself regularly, or just like to cook, what are the top ten or fifteen ingredients you can always rely on?
What are your desert-island, top ten, most useful foods?
Awards will be given in four categories:
versatility (how many meals you can make)
relative cost (lower the better without sacrificing quality)
gourmet-ity (would i feel good about serving it to friends/dates)
and nutritional value (are these ingredients going to clog my arteries, or give me kidney stones)
so get to work! tell your friends to suggest others too.
i'm trying to put together a friend's pantry because i'm a good friend.
anyway can't wait to hear them, i have my own ideas but i want to see what else i can find.
