~HOLY CRAP HEY EVERYONE ~
Wow so where have I been? I've been doing school... hardcore nasty hours of school and work on top of those hours. But it was the most exciting and fun semester ever. For one I took an amazing comic making class called graphic storytelling and it was just wow amazing. I would have pictures of my work but they're in a show at the university's gallery. We had a small juried show at the end of the class and only about 25 pieces out of 100 were accepted I was so fortunate to get 6 pieces in and I am stoked. There will be lots of lovely pictures when that stuff comes down end of the month. We had an amazing opening last week with tons of yummy food like homemade hummus and a watermelon that was carved to looks like a hedgehog that my mom made <3.
I Haven't done much sewing since summer term started because I was SO busy but here are two prototypes, herpaderp cat balls that I am making for the Art League's raffle. I'm running outta the fur so I want to make neon colored fleece ones next. I have a lot of projects to tackle this summer now that school is done. I aced both of my studio classes so that was a huge bonus...
Also wow a friend of mine brought this jem by earlier when she dropped off my wallet. Holy crap!!! She said her grandpa got it as a gift and did not want. <3 <3 <3 It was so sweet of her I plan to make her some little birdies as thanks. I can't wait to get some sewing done.... I sold EVERYTHING that was in my shop but there are lots of cool things to come I'll update when I restock over there =)
So dragon quest finally came out today!!! I am so excited I downloaded it for my R4 and.... UGH SAD my R4 is no where to be found, so sweet add that to my list of stuff to find/ buy new 3=.... But I am still excited and have been occupying my time with Scott Pilgrim comics... which I have nearly finshed, sorta sad but the series is good, I look forward to the movie especially since the guys that did hot fuzz and Shaun of the Dead will be involved =)
