Rainbow Cove: The Show Must Go On (Ariel's home)
In a quiet retreat on the far end of the town of Theed, a vigilant soldier brings news to his lord and master. With quivering knees, TK-711 approaches the Sith lord. He knows what happens to those who make mistakes.
"I bring grave news, master." His normally composed voice quivers just a little. "There was an accident with the experiment vessal."
The deep voice booms with all of the threat of dark power, cowering the obedient stormtrooper. "An accident? It had better not be serious. The blood line of that baby will be powerful with the Force. If any harm has come to that child you will pay."
"Well, sir... it's like this."
"Yes?"
"Well, you see. I was sent to make sure nothing happened to the boy and the baby and you see... he died of pregnancy difficulties."
"WHAT!?" Things begin to rattle around the retreat and vibrate and hum with dark energy. "You fool! How could you fail me this way!?" Darth Vader extends his hand to punish the trooper as is his wont to do.
Choking sounds and windpipe crushing begin to fill the room and the trooper utters a pained squeak, "Sir! I.. ugh! Argh! I .. tried!"
The comm is his only savior from certain death. The Emperor does not like to wait.
The dark lord stalks off to the comm to speak to his master, his words float back to the dying trooper. "It would seem the Force is with you today. Do not fail me again." He vanishes into his office to speak to the Emperor.
Nevertheless, a near death experience has shaken up the young trooper.
Changing into his officer's uniform, TK-711 muses over the events of the past few days. He had been sent to watch over Ariel to be sure that nothing had happened and he failed. Further, he failed someone he loved very much, TK-365. He had been jealous, very jealous but not enough for this to happen.
It's time for him to apologize and make ammends. He makes a call.
"365, I wanted to apologize. I have been very hard on you and your partners. I didn't realize how much they meant to you and how happy you have b...." He breaks off when TK-365 breaks down into tears.
All he can do is console the mourning trooper in silence. Anything further would simply make things worse.
Meanwhile in another part of the planet, a misty green smoke rises and Taliesen's work with the strange, mystical comm is complete.
To Ariel's amazement, he is returned whole, still pregnant and still adorned in all of his makeup and jewelry.
Nevertheless, his first thought is to return home to his Wookiee and stormtrooper.
"You're staying here so Dranon and I can take care of you, Ariel. No travelling, no work. Stay off your feet as much as you can until that baby is born." Taliesen gives him a squeeze and a firm command.
"I'm just glad you're alive, Ariel. Welcome home."
"Spike!" Ariel scoops the jax up to cuddle him, happily. "I've been wanting to give you a big snuggle for the longest time, boy!"
Although instructed to get rest, Ariel makes a resolve to make a change in his life and himself. After all of the events surrounding his life, it is time to leave the past behind and start anew.
He cuts his hair and removes the rebellious makeup. Looking at himself in the mirror, he likes what he sees.
The decision to drastically change his appearance is also nudged by a new profession. He has made the decision to study paranormal (the job that his mates were seeking, themselves, ironically). His walk on the other side has opened his eyes to strange workings in the Force and revealed many things to him. It's time to use this knowledge to help others.
And with his newfound insight and power, he makes a decision to play with the hands of fate, one more time.
"Uh, Ariel, you best be careful with that, hun. Dabbling with the workings of life can be very dangerous."
"I know, i know, great Creator but just this once, please?"
"All right, dear. You've been through a lot, I guess. And Aurora may be a calming influence for you so nothing happens to you again."
When the moment of the baby's birth arrives, Aurora is anything but calm!
"Ohmygods! What! What! What!?! EEEEK! How are you gonna push that out of... EEEEEK!!!?
The baby passes, painfully, into this world and bears the green skin of an abduction experiment and Ariel's golden eyes. Ariel names the baby boy Miracle in memory of all that occurred to have him.
"Awww he's kinda cute! He's green like me. But.. where's his lekku?"
"Aurora, he's not Twi'lek."
"Awwww that's too bad. He'd be cuter with little head tails!"
Nevertheless, Aurora takes to baby Miracle like a good aunty. "Awww who's the doopy dooppy lekkuless cutie? You are! Yes! You!"
Sadly, Ariel is reminded of two loves he has left behind and another decision is made.
It's time to take Miracle and return home to his lovers. He bundles the baby up, says his hugging farewells to his fathers and heads home.
Fek'lhr is the first to greet the father and son! His attempts at play seem to not frighten the baby, amazingly.
And finally, TK-365. "Awwww he looks nothing like you but what a cute baby! Oooooh! Boopy bloo bloop!" Who knew a stormtrooper of solemn professionalism could melt this far.
Things return to normal and TK-365 takes up gardening, once again. Healthy, fresh vegetables and fruit for Ariel and the baby.
And Ariel starts his new job in the world of Force discovery and anomalies in the paranormal.
And a few other things return to good as before!
And what of the Dark Lord of the Sith? Well, amidst his admonishment of TK-711's failure, it is revealed just why this particular blood line is so important to him.
