I should have gone to bed an hour and a half ago, but instead I'm up and cooking food for this week. There's laundry to fold, an apartment to clean, job applications to submit, and dishes to clean. Of course, I'll probably get perhaps 10% of that done, then pass out.
I went to Phoenix Pride yesterday with Zina and had an excellent time. The parade was full of people of all shapes, sizes, and sexual preferences; they were shouting, singing, dancing and waving signs, and wearing brightly colored outfits or hardly anything at all. I managed to avoid getting sunburned, except for the top of my head, go figure. I guess that's what I deserve for getting my hair cut.
I'm trying to work my way into programming. I've downloaded JellyfiSSH, NetBeans, and Cyberduck, which seem to work pretty well for editing code and accessing the processors I'm supposed to manage. I'm waiting for the email from my potential employer to tell me that it's not actually worth the hassle of having a non-CS student work on this project.
I'm moving into a 2 bedroom apartment next month. It's in the same complex I'm in now, and I'll be saving over $300 per month in rent and utilities, so I'm pretty excited about that. I'm also really excited to have a roommate again... it gets really lonely, living by yourself.
My dad's side of the family is coming up to visit next week. I probably won't be online Wednesday through Sunday. I'll be sure to post pictures of where we go and what we do.
I'm going to finish cooking dinner and go to sleep.
