Clean-up and collections
My job involves 4 twelve-hour shifts followed by 4 days off - a pretty good deal except the night shift beats the hell out of me if I wish to dwell in the light. Sleeping during the day (or trying to) also has its downers.
This past 4 days off (I'm back off to work within the hour) I have spent getting some things done I've put off for a great while. I completely organized my fledgling movie collection, got a good start on my music folders, and of course, started this journal again. Actually got most of a 'To-Do' list done for once!
Collection-wise, I've had torrents going solid for the past three days. I picked up a extremely low budget Turkish rip-off of the original 'Star Wars' from 1982 (complete with stock footage from the latter). I also have dabbled in some cartoon series, including one I eagerly await starring cartoon mice aboard the Titanic. SEED, DAMN YOU.
The little time I get during my four days on I believe I'll work on cleaning out my vast picture collection - only a decent 7% being obscene! - and scour the net to add to my growing pile of comics - one in particular I'll make a special post about later.
