I got free passes to clipsal this year. We went on saturday and it was fabulous!
While I was waiting in line to have my bag checked, an ambulance raced out of the entry/exit to gate 6, and it was only later on that we learned that Ashley Cooper had struck out on the fastest corner of the track, omg. Because of this, they cancelled the classics race, and i was REALLY looking forward to seeing my bb race:

I got to go on a pit garage tour for the supercheap auto team. not a fan of holdens at ALL but engine they have running in those (they showed us the spares they had) are absolutely stunning. the black O.Z multi-spokes they were rolling on are hotttttt as.
Seeing the bugatti and pagani zonda was awesome. the extreme machines 'parade' if you will, was beautiful. the screaming lambourghini, the purring audi, the heaps tough looking gt40 replica. I had an amazing clipsal experience this year.
we get crazily huge flocks of birds that fly screaming over our houses out here and land in our back yards. usually there is about one thousand, seriously, but today there were less and i was able to take a few photos. it's was actually pretty, i only wish i could have muted them
I can't wait until there are so many, that i can't see my back yard under them, again. i will be READY to take pictures next time :D
