He is smiling now, knows she is too, but he has a boat to pilot, a crew to feed, can’t be thinking of inky, witchful eyes; forces himself to move.

I don’t know. A woman’s answer if he’d ( Read more... )

wow. i've never read an orgasm before. that makes me happy.

ahakldjfdslk it's comments like this that boost my ego and make me want to write more. i'm so glad you like it, seeing as bill/babe isn't my forte - they just weren't one of the couples that jumped out at me upon my viewings. i had just always pictured bill as so god damned straight. but it's an interesting dynamic.

oh, much love, much love.

I'd say I've never written one before, but that is a diry, dirty lie. XP

Heh, for some reason his absolute straight-ness makes the woobie and me love it even more. :D I think she summed it up best in RP with Bill saying, "I don't like men, just you, kid." *dies* Didn't jump out for me either, was quite crack-pair at first. Then I watched it again, and even if it's unrequitted, you KNOW Babe would follow him to the ends of the earth. *wibbles*

The fact that they're heteroplatonic life-partners in real life helps too. :P SIXTY YEARS. CHRIST.

oh, we've all been there. and it's absolutely delightful.

oh, agreed, agreed! witchling and i were discussing it, and we decided that babe could definitely have a thing for bill, as a sort of hero-worship crush. And that is a wonderful summary. I can easily picture our Bill saying that.

Oh wow. I don't know if I could be friends with someone for sixty years. I'd end up punching them.

I think if he did have a hero-worship crush, it would have to shift a bit as the series went on. I mean, by the time they're in Bastogne, the replacements who've made it that far are pretty much accepted by everyone. Babe would feel he should at least get more respect from Bill, if not some sort of returned feelings simply because he now feels more like an equal to him.

And the guys have always treated him better than the other replacements, which would inflate his ego a bit. XP

Hey, it's perfectly acceptable to punch your friends. Sometimes they deserve it.

Now I'm imagining them both having an 'I'm not talking to you' fight at some point over something really silly. Augh, where's the off-switch for my brain?

Hehehe...

Babe: Christ, did you drink all the milk again? An' leave th'goddamn carton in here?
Bill: Well, throw it out if it bugs y'so much.
Babe: Why should I do it! I didn't drink it all!
Bill: 'Cause y're the one what cares?
Babe: YOU'RE SO IMPOSSIBLE. GOD. DON'T TALK TO ME.
Bill: *grumbles* It's just a fuckin' milk carton...hey, are y'gonna buy more?
Babe: -_- I'm not talkin' t'you. Buy y're own milk.
Bill: Y're the one with two fuckin' legs!
Babe: *turns away, arms crossed over chest.*
Bill: I...I...fine. Not talkin' to you either. *grabs crutches, storms off in search of dairy products*

Yeah. I have no idea.
