That sounds amazing - the tallest we have is some clock towers, maybe a few watchtowers; buttresses only support so much stone. [At least his clothes probably date him a little enough to help make sense of this one...] Is it a very old city?
Is it a big change, from Johto to there? [There's some things about the architecture that are already striking him as a little odd in New Bark Town, although the small town doesn't have anything that unusual...]

Iwatodai is found in Japan. It's a larger city, and therefore is surrounded by skyscrapers and other vehicles.
