I wasn't able to clear my desk until today to be able to leave for our vacation. We had a new captain coming in that needed to be briefed. Turns out the new guy is Captain Anthony Turner. I've never worked with him before, but heard he's a decent guy. Good to his men. I had no problems leaving him in charge

Hear that? He came home for Christmas. Anyone care to tell him it's almost Christmas again? *chuckles*

Don't worry boy. I won't horn in on your vacation. You can stop looking like a dear caught in the headlights. I got a big case coming up I need to prepare for. Some no good lawyer outta N'Orleans needs to be taken down a notch, Jackson Morgann style. I reckon I don't have time to be galavanting around Ireland with you young'uns.

I'm sure you'll have a blast taking the lawyer down a notch and I promise there will be souvenirs, pictures and post cards from Ireland.

Trick and I have been planning this trip since we were little kids, but Jack picked out the place we're saying and it's kind of blowing my mind. It's like he knew what kind of places I used to dream about when I thought about Ireland.

No, Gramps. I won't be able to get leave for Christmas. As it was the Army owed me for the time off I'm getting now.

*nods* Yeah we'll be sending a lot of photos and souviners.

*frowns* Really you won't be able to? That sucks, you'd think they give you leave for that. Is there anyway you could come to Sunnydale for Christmas sir?

*eyes light up*

You could stay in Sunndale with us and come to Los Angeles to spend the actual holidays with our families. It's tradition that we have Christmas eve at Trick's house and Christmas dinner at my parents.

I know our families would love for you both to spend the holidays with us.

I reckon I can be freed up by then. Good ole fashioned family Christmas sounds good about now. It's been awhile since we've had one.

My mom will be thrilled to have you both. She's been wanting to meet Jack for awhile now and this means she gets to meet two handsome and charming Morgann men at the same time.
