Having Captain Holtz here has added an entirely different perspective to this situation. His ideas are sound, and just his experience with hunting vampires and such for as long as he has. It's been a great sharing the field of battle with and the rest of these people. I reckon we wouldn't have meade it as long as we have, if not each and everyone of these folks hadn't brought their outstanding abilities and sense of perserverance. If I sound like I am giving a farewell address, well I guess maybe I am. Theres something about tonight, a sense of urgency, like whatever happens tonight is gonna win or loose this thing. I don't think I'm the only one who senses this. Before the sun set last night, the time when the fighting has been intensifying these past nights, I pulled Kim aside and spent a few minutes alone with her. I just didn't want anything to happen to either of us without letting her know how crazy I am about her.
We started the battle from the roof. One of the Turok Han or the one that was already running around town(hard to tell they kinda look the same) is wandering through Ashmores camp. Not gonna get upclose and personal until, those slayer kids get back. Willow been using some magic on it thats held it back from charging the school, which is good since we really couldn't stop it. Though Giles and Xander keep exchanging concerned glances.
Captain Holtz had a novel idea. He proposed we cut off the sewer acces so that when daybreak hits the vamps escape routes are cut off. I added a modern day application to it and asked Yuffie and Penn to grab some welding equipment from the auto shop and port the the sewr access covers to weld them shut. They are off doing that now. Kim and Paige are on the front lines now. Of course Trick and Sean and I are covering their six, but so far they are holding their own.
Pallizo got word to his "organization", no one told me the guy though himself some demon mafia type. Reguardless, he's had his guys holed up in a warehouse waiting for instructions. They'll be arriving any minute taking the rear flank. I do love surprise attacks. Also, Pallizo's right hand guys had infiltrated Ashmores camp the night Paige had been rescued. Pallizo somehow signalled them and expects them to be helping from the inside. Everyone out for this offensive, except the severely injured. Even some of them are fighting from the second floor windows. It go big or go home time.
