"You know," Jack said with faux wisdom as he paused in front of a tapestry, Dari still on his arm, "This tapestry has a lot of history. Hand woven by the young children of the great Norwegian house of Eiden, great wizards they were. Oh-" He cut himself short, looking at Dari and grinning. "Sorry, I forgot, you're giving the tour, aren't you? Tell ( Read more... )

Dari grinned, because she did remember that passageway. Though the other history about it was fascinating, too, but at the moment she was much more interested in what was hidden behind.

"Hmmm.. well," she said, smirking deviously as she reached around behind it. "It you press on the wall just here, there's this convenient little room. Fascinating history to it, really."

She grinned as she pulled the tapestry away from the wall to reveal the opening she'd just uncovered.

"I know you want to see what's inside."

Jack's grin lit up his whole face as he peered into the dark space behind the tapesty. "I do... as long as there are no monsters." He moved so he was standing behind her, and casually slipped his arms around her waist. "Maybe you should lead the way," he murmered as he gently nudged her forward, his lips just barely an inch from the back of her neck, his breath warm against her skin.

"Don't worry, Jack, I'll protect you," she assured him with a wink. She grinned as he moved behind her, turning her head just enough to look at him as she started to walk through the small doorway, pulling him into the room with her.

"This," she told him once they were inside, turning around so that she was facing him again, but making she to not disturb those arms around her waist if she could help it, "is once of the nicest rooms in the whole castle."

"Ah, yes," he said as he resettled his arms, his hands resting on her hips now. "It's all coming back to me. Yeah... I used to spend a good bit of quality time here with a nice ravenclaw girl." He cocked his head slightly, peering at her in the dim light, a faint smirk on his lips. "I don't suppose you know where I might find her, hm?"

"Hmmmmm," she paused, pretending to think as she inched a little closer to him, bringing her lips just inches from his.

"You know, I think I know such a girl," she drawled slowly. She didn't bother to hide the teasing smirk on her lips, because they both knew who he was talking about and they both knew they probably wouldn't be talking for long.

"Oh, you know what? I think I may have found her." He inched even closer, her lips were just a breath away. "But there's only one way to be sure." Closing the gap he pressed his lips on hers, very faintly at first, then letting it get a bit deeper as he nipped gently at her lower lip before pulling away. "Yup. Found her."

Dari grinned as he inched closer, her breath catching just a bit, because she knew what was coming and it was a good sort of anticipation. She was definitely not disappointed when the moment came and she returned the kiss as asily as if no time at all had passed since their last encounter like this.

"Mmmm.. I'd say you have," she agreed before moving in to grab another kiss. TTalking was so overrated.

Jack had always found talking to be overrated. Actions spoke volumes when words were often fumbled and meaningless. Not that he himself ever fumbled over words, of course. Still, he found he could communicate much more in this moment with the way he snaked one hand around to stroke the small of her back as both of his lips gently closed around her bottom one, sucking slightly.

Dari was definitely preferring this sort of communication right now. Not that Jack didn't talk pretty or anything, but this was so much nice than talking.

She made a few low, approving noised as the way he was sucking at her lip and her arms found their way around his neck as she deepened the kiss just slightly.

Career weekend was shaping up to be a grand thing indeed.

Okay, so the job had some perks. Random trips to Hogwarts? God he hoped there would be more random trips to Hogwarts.

As for this trip... He felt familiar goosebumps as the hairs on the back of his neck were brushed lightly by Dari's arms. Almost heistantly (hey, it had been a while!) his fingers toyed with the bottom hem of her shirt, and then slipped under the light fabric, dancing teasingly over the curve at the base of her spine. At the same time, his tongue lightly traced the curves of her lips. If he had goosebumps, she should too. Good logic, he liked it.

Dari would definitely be in favor of Jack visiting Hogwarts more often. She'd actually missed him this year and not just because he was a great snog. Though, of course, he was. As weird as writing him was at first, he was a nice bloke to talk to, too.

She smiled at the slight hesitation in his hands. It had been awhile, but they seemed to be doing a good job of picking things right back up again.

"Merlin," she muttered as his fingers moved over her skin. That ploy to give her goosebumps was definitely working, but they were the most delightful sort of goosebumps and she didn't mind in the least.

Jack chuckled in soft triumph as his lips pulled slowly away from Dari's. He pecked softly down over her chin, then nuzzled into the curve of her neck. His lips danced with his fingers, lightly kissing her soft skin, every once in a while his teeth grazed over her throat. He was doing his best to remember her sensetive spots, and he thought he was doing quite well. He wasn't the brightest bulb in the chandelier, but there were some things he was very good at memorizing.

Jack was definitely doing a good job at remember or rediscovering or whatever he was doing there and Dari let out a soft moan as his mouth found just that spot. Merlin. Dari was doing some remembering of her own, as in she was suddenly remembering just why she had spent so much of last year in spots like this with Jack.

She arched her neck, only too glad to give him a bit more access as one hand moved to tug lightly on his tie. Oh, how Dari liked that tie. Well, any tie, really. But this one in particular she was really liking right now. Her other hand rested lightly at his hip and she let out a little "oh" of appreciation as his teeth grazed just there.

This might just be the best career fair in the history of Hogwarts.

A small thought of "Hm, maybe ties aren't so bad" flickered in Jack's mind as that gentle tug drew him even closer to Dari, if that was even possible at this point. He made a happy humming noise, his lips vibrating against her throat, then moved up to kiss her lips again.

He really hadn't counted on this when his boss had shooed him out of the door and away to Hogwarts for the weekend. Thank goodness for silver linings.

And Dari had expected the career fair to be uneventful. Boring, even. She obviously hadn't counted on one Jack Martin making his return to Hogwarts, had she? It was a pleasant surprise, to say the least, and she couldn't help hoping he could find excuses to return again in the future.

Especially if this was to be the result.

When he started to kiss her lips again, she returned it hungrily, making it clear that she was definitely glad for this opportunity and possibly suggesting that they wouldn't be leaving this passageway for quite some time.

After all, they had nearly a whole year of not snogging to make up for and Dari intended to catch up on that right now.
