Dynasty Warriors 4: Hyper is inaccurate
I found myself disappointed when I realized I was fighting Sun Jian at the battle of Chi Bi in Dynasty Warriors 4: Hyper. Seriously. The battle of Chi Bi took place in the year 208, 17 years after Sun Jian died. Hell, even Sun Ce had died by that point. I should've been fighting Sun Quan, dammit.
I'm hoping this is all due in part to the fact that I haven't unlocked Sun Quan yet. But dammit, Zhou Yu was there and I haven't unlocked him, either!
And also, Zhuge Liang died. When he "reappeared," it was actually just a statue of him used to fool Sima Yi. I shouldn't have had to fight Zhuge Liang after his death.
And if the game is going to show me Xiahou Dun being shot in the eye at the battle of Xia Pi (even though he was shot before that particular battle), they could at least not have him wearing an eye patch up to that point. And in that same battle, Zhang Liao isn't supposed to surrender. He's supposed to be captured at the end, curse Cao Cao, and then have his life spared (with Liu Bei and Guan Yu's help) for being valiant.
Come to think of it, what the hell was Liu Bei doing at the battle of Wu Cheng Plains? He died 11 years earlier!

But seriously, none of this will deter me from playing the game. I love this game. Also, everyone should read Three Kingdoms by Luo Guanzhong.
