Best Week Ever, continued.

Well, the Red Hot Chili Peppers concert is tonight, and Holly and I will be leaving in a few hours for it (starts at 7:30).  I've seen enough concert footage of RHCP to know what to expect for the most part, so there isn't much I'll have to say after the concert.  Gnarls Barkley will be opening for the Chili Peppers, and I'm curious to find out how that goes since I don't know anything about the band other than a couple songs I've heard.

In any case, like I said there probably won't be much to say about the concert after the concert (or even before the concert) other than the fact that we're going to the concert.  That being said, it's time to move on to more important issues that need to be discussed.  More important than a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert, you wonder?  Well, let's get right to it.

On Tuesday, after an anxiety-filled three-day application process, what with getting ahold of Napoli's and checking up on my employment status, Lansbrook Apartments (off Benton, near Lowe's) accepted mine and Holly's application.  On Tuesday, January 30th, at 10:00am, Holly and I will be signing our lease.  Two days later, on February 1st, we'll collect our keys and move into our new home.  Lansbrook, where Holly used to live with her father and brother, are very nice luxury apartments that come with a washer and dryer where we normally wouldn't have considered moving into because of the $800+ monthly fees.  However, earlier this month Holly noticed that they have a deal going on.  The first 30 people to sign a lease by Jan. 31 will receive $2007 off a 12-month lease.  That brings our monthly fee (for the apartment alone) down to $663.  That, considering the fact that we won't need to purchase a washer or dryer, the apartment comes with a built-in entertainment center, and plenty of amenities throughout the complex itself, is quite a deal.  That all being said, wish us both the best of luck as we journey into the next chapter of the storybook of our lives.
