Goddamn I haven't posted in awhile, and I have ridiculous computer access here
What's up everyone? I feel like I should be updating you, but I've been lazy as hell and enjoying the wonderful social hotbed known as college. It would take me months to let you know EVERYTHING that has gone on, but to abbreviate it(and avoid mentioning the obvious activities.)
-FIRST AND FOREMOST, our band has begun! Go to http://www.garageband.com/artist/replicaofme. Yep, that's me playing lead bass(uh huh, two bassists.) I know I've told most of you I hated hardcore and metal back in Charlotte, but being around these guys I've built an entirely new appreciation for it. Yes, T(I)NC is still my favorite band(and I've been chosen to work on their news website! internationalnoiseconspiracy.tk!) the only things that have been in my CD player are Refused(always liked them, T(I)NC's singer, no shit) Avenged Sevenfold(A7X), Dillinger Escape Plan, Every Time I die, and the new Slipknot CD. Replica of Me is going to be playing a breed of progressive metal/hardcore inspired by those above listed bands. Check us out soon, heh heh. If you want to hear the singer's former band in which he did vox, go to garageband.com/artist/somewhereinfinity. The band is no more, but that's a taste of what we will sound somewhat like.
-I have a new girlfriend here. Her name's Sarah. She hails from Fort Wayne Indiana and is absolutely stunning. Take Winnie Cooper from the Wonder Years and make her look not so sickly and anorexic. Sarah is sort of reminsicent of that. We have quite a relationship..and as a matter of fact, her room (239) is now my room since I'm there all the time and at night ;)
-I've only been back to Charlotte once to pick up my band equipment since I've been here, but am returning for a couple of days on the 29th for the Dillinger Escape Plan/Every Time I Die show. Any one planning on going to that?
-Hope everything's going well back in the QC for those of you I knew personally, and where everyone hails from, hope you're enjoying life and all that jazz. I sure as hell am.
