Secret Valentine Tour!!
I've just gotten back from the show and I have yet another sharpie to retire (the one Greta used to sign the Like Vines book from back in August is on a shelf...which I refer to as 'my shrine' lol).
I can finally say I've met all of 'The Cab' and I met 'VersaEmerge' and 'We The Kings'
I have a little bit of a story to tell about my being able to meet 'We the Kings'.
Mum wound up sitting down at the tables (it was at a skating rink, go figure) and the woman she sat near started talking and they just talked I suppose during the whole thing. Well apparently her girls love 'We the Kings' or her daughter...I know she had a couple of girls in her group...so anyways...they had a spare yellow bracelet (you needed it for the 'We the Kings' meet and greet or else they'd kick you out), some girl never showed...so she just gave me the bracelet! So I managed to meet them, get my picture with them and have them sign a poster for my friend Audrey.
I'm quite happy about that.
I'm sure Alex Johnson from 'The Cab' thinks I'm stalking him. I kept going over to him and stuff....HE REMEMBERS ME FROM THE GREENSBORO CONCERT! Mind you....I would be even more like 'OMG!' if it had been Marshall that remembered me...yes I admit it, I have a secret love of Alex Marshall.
But he signed the cd book (with a little heart) but as AJ and he signed a piece of paper for Melissa. I sooo can not wait for homeschool so I can give lissa the paper!! The entire band signed it and Cash personolized it!!!!
She's going to be quite happy!
for some reason Ian was going for some hardcore cop look, because he had the hat and the cuffs....
I talked to Deleon afterwards cause he was hanging out and my mum was still talking to the lady who gave me the bracelet....(this was after I met We The Kings) and I asked him why he had one hand gloved and the other not and this was pretty much the convo-
Me: Why do you have only one glove on?
Deleon: Because one hand gets colder then the other
Me: Okaaaay that's weird
Deleon (laughing): No that's not true, its because I'm like Michael Jackson
Me: That doesn't make it any better
He laughs again and starts to walk off...
Me: I hope you mean old school Michael Jackson!
Deleon: Well of course! Not new school!!
and he disappered into the mens room....Exciting innit?
And if I didn't already think they were a boy band...tonight proved it...THEY SANG AN NSYNC SONG!! lmao
That's even worse then the photo of Derren from The Hushies wearring an NSYNC shirt...lmao
And dude, the bassist for VersaEmerge looks just like Brendon Urie!!! I told him this too and he said he gets that alot. But they all signed the poster I bought. Sara (I guess thats how it's spelled?) was really nice too! I'm expecting a photo from someone else over myspace who took it with their camera and said they'd send it to me!
I don't know his name....but their drummer? Oh I think I've developed a crush on him! Suki was wrong when she said I had a secret love of ginger guitarists...I just have a secret love of ginger band boys...he as super cute and smelled good! lmao
When I went to get him to sign the poster, he was talking to Johnson (from the cab) and Johnson was like 'you look like a creep in that picture' and they were talking about it and I was like 'well it just looks like you'd had no sleep' and his eyes went wide and he was like 'oh that's soo funny because the night before I actually hadn't got any sleep. I was nodding off during the photo shoot! good call!' and I was like 'well you still look good, so don't worry' and he thanked me and hugged me :)
Then when he was walking by again I wanted to get my photo so I was like 'mum take our picture' and he walked over and was like 'mom?' and hugged my mum. He was a sweetie....lol
So I did get my picture with 'We the Kings', 'The Cab' and at least two of the peeps from 'VersaEmerge' and one with the lead singer of 'There For Tomorrow' least I think that was the band he was from :P
Anywhos, I can't think of anything more to write. I'll post the photos when I get them back! Love yas!! Beccs! ^_^
ps. omgomgomgomg last night Suki said in the hushies newest blog Greta said she was going to LA to record the new cd!!! *SQUEEEEEEEE*
Pss.. I also got a tee shirt for the cab that says 'if you use your lips they better be on me' I love it!!
