Brendon was always a rebel of sorts. When he was ten he drank an caffeinated soda at a friends house. When he was fourteen he had half of a beer he stole from an older distant cousin. When he was nineteen though, he met William Beckett. It wasn't discount soda or cheap beer anymore, it was blood. Somehow through his transformation though, he still kept a bit of himself. When he was twenty-two he met her. She was the forbidden fruit, and he wanted a bite.

Faith Hamilton basically raised herself. When she was seven her parents were killed by vampires. She did as much as a young child could do to take care of herself. She had no other relatives to speak of and eventually was taken in by a church. They let her stay there and gave her an education in exchange for working at the church.
She would do things in the office, answer phones, file papers, make the weekly bulletins, and make sure the sanctuary was always clean, before and after mass. To her, Father John was a father, even if she hadn't yet confided in him that she didn't believe in God.
When Faith was eighteen she met Greta Salpeter, Thomas Dutton, Sierra Kusterbeck, and Blake Harnage. They had come to the church late one night and Faith found them pouring holy water from the basin in the sanctuary that Father John used to bless the patrons of Saint Peter's, into little bottles. When she confronted them, they wouldn't tell her what they were doing. Then when she nearly broke Blake and Thomas' arms, they sat down and confessed.
They were getting the Holy Water to use against the Vampires. They were taking it upon themselves to fight the walking dead. Faith related to the group because in one way or another they shared the same tragic story.
Greta's best friend's had been killed by Vampires. Sierra's sister had been turned. Thomas and Blake both lost their brothers.
Faith immediately asked if she could join the hunt, after all, she had easy access to as much holy water and crosses as the group could possibly want.
Thomas and Blake reluctantly agreed.
So by day Faith Hamilton was the good girl who worked at Saint Peter's, and by night, she was hunting vampires with her new best friends.
Within two years they accomplished a lot, but could never quite eradicate, 'the pests' as Blake liked to call them.
However, there was the group known as “The Dandies” that they could never quite get rid of. They gathered a great amount of information on the group, but couldn't get rid of them.
It was when Faith was twenty, that she met Brendon Urie
