Not familiar with the fandom, but love the language and imagery. Great job! (Now I need to go do some googling to find out about the fandom.)

The fandom is EverymanHYBRID and it is a crazy scary ARG and if you're not careful it will EAT YOUR BRAIN. I'm so glad you liked it! Duuude, how are you? I'm sorry I haven't been around much. :(

I will have to check this out, then.

I've been doing well. Things have been hectic and busy, but that's usual. I've also been forgetful (*guiltily notices the date on this comment*), but that's also par for the course for me. How are you?

Do iiiit. I need someone to slash Evan and Vinnie with me. :<

Hey, I've been neglecting LJ terribly, so no worries! I've been doing alright -- busy as well, tired. Wondering if I'll make good grades this semester instead of just decent ones. Eck.

Rough semester? You're getting up to that stressful time of year, too, aren't you? You're getting through it, though, so good luck! I'll definitely check it out, though.

Not that rough, actually. I'm just worried, because Mom and Dad want me to get my scholarship back and so to do that we need to go through an appeals process and shit...but they want me to have good grades to back it up. I know I'll be passing this semester, I just don't know what I'll have the grades they want.

I'm tired of making Cs but I don't know what to do about it. It's so fucking arbitrary. I put in effort for my classes but the results are never uniform.

alsjdfla;ksjdf;alkdjf. I know I should go in for tutoring but I don't know what I need tutoring for.

Have you picked a major yet? The scholarship thing really sucks. Fortunately, once I got mine, apparently GPA wasn't a huge issue.

I can absolutely sympathize, though. Some of the time when I didn't do as well, it was my fault and I could pinpoint what I did wrong. Other times, it was just so random and there was nothing more frustrating than spending hours working on something for a professor and get a C, then turn around and throw something together for the same professor and get an A.

Hopefully you'll get things back on track, though. Let me know how it goes and if you need any moral support or someone to rant to. I've definitely been there with the grade stuff. Do you have my email?

My major is English. I'm trying to get through paperwork to double minor in Theology and History.

Mine was dependent on me managing 5 classes a semester and keeping a 3.0 GPA. Freshman year sunk that pretty damn quick.

Pretty much. I know a lot of the problem is that I'm a procrastinating bitch, but the rest of it...ugh, I don't know.

Thanks. I think I'll take advantage of that. It's still [brookiki]@aim.com, right?

Sounds like a good choice for the major and minors. I think I was only three classes away from a history minor, too. Looking back at the catalog, since the history and poli sci departments were together and shared the big classes, I was only five classes away from a major.

The English is tough, though. I had a really hard time adapting to the MLA citation (I'm notoriously stupid when it comes to learning new citation methods) and for so many of the professors, I had no idea what they really wanted and when I did get a good grade, I couldn't tell what I had done differently. I had trouble with procrastination, too, because there was just so much reading to do and missing a day or two just threw me off.

And yup, that's the right email.
