NEW FACE UP AND OTHER NEWS
CHRISTMAS/HOLIDAY EVENTS ARE STARTING TO BE ANNOUNCED- WHOOO!
Unfortunately I won't be able to really participate in any- I never get to anyway- but it's still exciting to see whats being offered.
I've been keeping my eyes on Spiritdoll in particular to see if they'll have any goodies. I plan ordering their Elegance body for Levi during the holidays and was hoping they would have something like a gift outfit, free shipping, or new jointed hands (the only ones they have right now are Proud size, their 70 cm line).
Well, they announced that they will be offering two new limiteds and a bunny "pet", along with a couple freebies if you buy either a full set limited or two full dolls. Boohoo. Oh well, I'll still get one of their lovely carriers regardless, so I'm happy. I just want him to finally be complete. Then eventually I'll place another order with Tata's Paradise for more awesome clothes.
Anything else? Not really. I'll hopefully be getting the chance to see a Grit in person next meet (this weekend, the 13th) so I can finally decide for sure if I'll be getting me a Syen head to mod. At the moment I'm thinking it's going to be a She and be a little Imp. That way it can have the mischievous look I love so much and wear whatever I want it to, from poofy skirts to street-wear. Other than that? I have no idea, haha.
NOW ON TO THE FACE UP.
In honour of the Fall season, I went with a more natural face for him, sticking with the reds I love so much and more browns than I am used to using. And no black. That was difficult.
In addition to the more natural colours, I found a bottle of bronze coloured acrylic paint (which I actually used for the eyelashes on his last face up) that I wanted to play a bit with.
I'm still not pleased with my eyelashes- or general cheek blushing- but hey, that's what practice is for, isn't it?
