Me: So, what’s your answer?

C: Smiles at me in a fairly disconcerting way.

Me: You’re going to make me say that word aren’t you?

C: Laughs. No.

Me: So... what’s your answer?

C: Okay.

Me: Okay?

C: Yeah.

Me: Just like that?

C: Would you like me to mock you some more?

Me: Not particularly.

C: So, what’s the problem? Did you want me to say no?

Me: No, I’m just... confused.

C: Sighs. J doesn’t really do monogamy. I’d rather it was you instead of someone else.

Me: Thanks?

C: I just mean... I trust you. I like you. So, I’m okay with that.
