Summery: Actually I don't know how to summerize this... it was written for "Valentine" prompt... but ya. I envisioned it in a tunnel and maybe the end of the world, Jack trying to save his team/Gwen... but hey, hope you all enjoy it anyway!
His hand slid over her's; it was trembling. Giving it a squeeze, he guided her forward. Into the darkness, in front of her. She resisted, half turning, half wanting to see if he really meant for her to go first.
But he did.
She had to.
Because if he went first, she would have stopped him from rushing past and doing the one thing he never wanted to do.
He slipped his hand from hers and bit his lip, tears in his eyes as he took in her form before she was swallowed by the darkness…
To be safe forever.
