Jingle Bells
Andy came into town this weekend and we kept pretty busy. Friday night was pretty low key. We made some dinner(nachos to be exact, and I should say Andy made them) and watched the finale to the Biggest Loser. It was rather long even with being able to fast forward throug the commericials. I made some cookies that Andy and I did a rather good job of eating the rest of the weekend. Down to the last cookie, something that neither of us needed! haha
Anywho, we got up sat morning and ran. I should say ran/walked but it was something to get us going for the day. We then made some breakfast and proceeded to decorate the front yard with Christmas lights. Sometimes I get a little frustrated with stuff like that but Andy kept me in check! haha We put some lights in the shrubs, some plants on the front porch and managed to put two strands in my tiny tree in the front yard. Funny thing, only one strand works on the tree. It looks kinda funny. We even went to wal-mart and bought some garland to put around the front door.
After the yard, we put together "our" christmas tree and decorated it. I started that adventure by putting the middle part of the tree in the chrismas tree stand. That didn't work out too well but Andy was to the rescue again! We didn't have anything to top our tree except this jewish looking ornament that Andy REFUSED to put on the top.l I can't say I blame him. Anyway, I was at the HEB on Sunday and bought a little santa guy to put on the top.
Saturday night we went to my Christmas party for work. I was rather excited that Andy and I were attending. That was really the first time he met the rest of the management group that I work with. They have heard me talk about him for a year and a half and had yet to meet him. I have to say he was a hit! Everybody seemed to love him! But then again, I do too! :)
Sunday I made him breakfast and we took a nap. We both fell asleep watching the clock and we almost overslept. We got up just in time to get to the airport. It was a great weekend and once again it went by extremely fast. But I'm happy b/c Andy is coming back on Friday. :)
