Yes, it is true. Jack has finally turned 18 and happy to say that I had a really nice time. Yesterday's fun level was like an exponential I tell.
I think I would write it down as a timetable because it would makes things really clear.
AM
12-3: I was at RSL club for the first time seated at a gambling seat. My first impression was that it was really smoked up. I went in with $20 and came out $27 but I gave $10 to my Mum. So, in it the end I lost $3. But that is okay.
PM
9-11: The whole family hurriedly packed up whatever work I left on Friday. My broth2r (2nd brother) rushed to buy softdrinks, beer, bread and spaghetti noodles. He had a doctor's appointment so it was counted as a rush. Yeah, I think you will start to see the exponential of fun sooner or later.
11-2: I had a few relatives over and two friends over. Though I told everyone that it started at 12. But I was told the times that they would arrive which was a lot later, so I was prepared. Junjai, Yukikaze and BB was over and we played Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo. Yes, we're all 18 and still playing that childish game AND having a good time. But yeah, the enthusiasm just dropped everyime I mention, "Let's eat". Because they were here for a while and not eating. We went to eat, and a few more relatives came. It was a nice sunny day, but there was really nothing to do because of the differences in interest. I ended up showing Junjai, his birthday present and he didn't look to surprise because Smellie wrecked it for all of us. But I forgive now. Just don't do it next year until you're sure. Well, BB said she needs to leave soon because she has another party to go to. During that time, I was absolutely positive that that party right now, would be heaps more fun than my one because nothing is really happening. Basically, Street Fighter EX3 and eating. My older cousin even fell asleep. That's how it was.
2-6: Smellie and
crossx came over with their respective friends and we ate and chat away (I'm sorry I made
crossx walk a whole circle because I mistakened her phone call to Smellie rather than her). This happened after BB left. I called Junjai and Yukikaze out to introduce everyone to each other. They like my house I can say that and they ESPECIALLY LOVE BAMBI, my dog. Smellie and Maggie just loves to hug it. They ate. At first my dad served them, and then I came out and served them. Had a small chat and decided to go karaoke inside. Slack enough, I kicked my two little cousins off the tv, so we could turn on the karaoke. I didn't want to sing because I was still shy (kind of contradicting myself, when I said I am a man now). But yeah, I eventually sung a duet, "A Whole New World" with my future sister-in-law. Surprisingly enough, I wanted to sing that to Smellie, but with no special meaning. Just she once said she likes that song. For some reason, my singing voice was a bit off at that time. I listened to myself as well. I reckon later that night, it sounded a little bit better. Smellie, Maggie,
crossx, Shiro, and Mike sung a few songs and I did one right before they left. It was funny I admit, Mike was a funny guy with the smart jokes and all. Shiro was a good singer,
crossx did not lie. I could not hear
crossx singing, she was too soft. But one day I would go K with her or I would drag her to go K with me (though I have it at home).
6-7: Most relatives had left along with
crossx (with Shiro), Smellie, Maggie and Mike while DeLam came I could just say, that not much happened between then and into 30minutes. Junjai, Yukikaze and DeLam left leaving the house. PM and Paul then came over and I quickly brought them to my dining table to eat. I served them spaghetti while I had korean salad. They said they liked it. Just for background sound, I put Happy Feet on. I also introduced my family to them as they walked pass. We had a lot to talk about, but not too much to absolutely fill up the time-slot here. I received a call, and then Kel came. I served him the same thing, spaghetti. Small chats and drinking. I wanted to get tipsy, but the vodka just was not hitting me no matter how much I drank. So I gave up and gave PM and Paul a tour around my house. Actually, I gave nearly everyone a tour around my house showing them my project 5 model -cheeky laugh-. Disappointing enough, Yukikaze said my project 3 and 4 are terrible. Anyway, back to the point, I got a call at 7. The rest of them has came. Winnie, CCC, ND, BL, SyMel and Crsn (Sorry my friends, I do not use real names here. I'm trying my best to keep your IDs as nicknames or another way of saying so, unless you give me consent).
7-9: Here is where it really begins. Like I once mentioned in an earlier entry. Maybe I'm more HKish than my family, or it's just the way they are. But I had much more fun doing the things that they do. Such things as karaoke, though I AM shy at first. When I get into it, I can do it. CCC said it is a pain getting to my place and he can't understand how I can do it every day going to uni. I just said, "Wake up 3 hours before class starts". Myself, I reckon it is really annoying to do so as well, but I just have to accept it and let it be a training to my future working life which would be worse. Anyway, they all said that the food was nice and place was big. AGAIN, they all love BAMBI. After eating, we spent some time at the backyard chasing Bambi around, after Paul decided to let all the diet coke come out of his mouth and nose. Ouch, I stacked it and ripped my shoe. Let me just skip 30 minutes. PM tried the massage chair and we took a few photos
9-12: PM had to leave. I actually started to feel sorry for her. I reckon I am going to cop a lot from Paul later.
Now we're back into the house, warm and relaxed. We were all ready to go karaoke. CCC hogged the microphone just as my prophecy foretold. My first song sung during these hours was "As Long As You Love Me". I still suck. Damn. The songs just kept going and some of the entries were what I wanted to sing, but didn't have enough time to learn the lyrics of (since I can't read it, I might as well learn it). One of such entry was, "Can't Be Happy". Then when it came to cutting the cake, I never been so surrounded like that for a while. Last time was at my 13th, when I first became a teenager. Well, the cake was nice and it was made with heart (it's chocolate flavoured). Well, going on. After cake was straight back to karaoke. This enthusiasm did not stay too long. Paul brought out Mahjong and Poker. I mentioned Poker to the group before, the forgot about it after a while. It was approaching 11 and it was actually getting louder, which is wrong because the old lady next door might get a little angry. So I told them to keep it low if they can. You cannot deny how loud mahjong gets. But it is good, because the majong sound can be counted as "not-loud-enough". I got a little worried at around 11.40 because I forgotten when the last train to Central was to come. But then Paul and I rushed out to check it out. Gladly to say, it would be another 30 odd minutes till the last train comes. Well, the day ended like that.
12: I started to pour all the unfinished drinks into an empty 2L bottle and guess what. It filled 30% of the bottle. This is excluding the drinks outside. I went out to untie Bambi for the second time (first time being when we chased after it). I realized that the ground had a lot of ciggy butts -sigh-
Well, there is the summary of yesterday. I can't believe this thing took 3 hours to type up.
