It took like... 5 or so hours, but I finished Mass Effect 2. Sadly, I got an ending where my favorite character died. It's somewhat random; I made all the right decisions, but just given the circumstances of the final battle and the way the team split off, he didn't survive. It just means I have to do it again and strategize against the game and FORCE him to live. The ending was a little underwhelming, but Shepard did his uber fabulous speeches before going into battle, so I still enjoyed myself. I shall replay the ending tomorrow to try and save my fave alien, and then I shall take a small break before tackling the renegade run. ...I was also kinda disappointed with the lack of Miranda naked. More than that, I am REALLY disappointed with the lack of John Shepard naked... so I did the smart thing and googled Mark Vanderloo. Eye-candy galore! Then I youtube searched him... which was a bad idea, because he's a Dutch male model with a voice noticeably higher than Mark Meer. And he wore terrible pants back when he was 23. He is now 42. You do the math.
I created my first profile for Bill Murray, my newly acquired Xbox. The selection of pants for my avatar was appalling, but I made it work. I installed Fable II and was all excited to start when I suddenly felt exhausted. I couldn't get a save point until I completed a quest or two so I had to suffer and be tired for the start of the game. I haven't really used my TV in awhile, and it's actually pretty terrible. It's old. I am so used to my crystal clear monitor that enduring the TV resolution is painful. It is also not widescreen. I can't afford a new TV, but I can dream!
