Wow
Yeah, so I remember when I used to do lj like all the time. Now.. not so much. I guess myspace got the best of me, but I don't even go on that too often anyway.. So yeah, life is good. A lot of shit is going down that's not so good but for the most part, I'm really happy with my life at this point. I just got an awesome job that I am super stoked about. I'm going to be a medical receptionist at a pediatrician's office in Totem Lake. I actually used to go there when I was younger so it's kinda fun working with the doctors who like gave me my shots to get into kindergarden.
And I'm trying really hard to get into this school to become a Radiology Tech. I've heard from a lot of people that it takes a long time to get into this kind of a program, but I'm gonna just keep working full time until I get in. It could take up to a year or two, but I'm willing to wait because it's what I want to do. And having a good job while I'm waiting isn't so bad either. My dad my not approve but guess what? I don't care. It's my life and I think I'm doing pretty good with it so far.
And yeah soo.. let's see.. work, school, boyfriend. Jared and I are still together. It's been over 2 years.. wow, it's crazy huh? Who would have ever thought? And yeah, we're doing really good. I'm so glad that he's doing something that he truly enjoys right now. He's doing so good at it and he's teaching me so much too! I love that man.
My little brother turned 6 yesterday. He's awesome. Love that kid. I can't believe how fast they grow up.
So, Jared and I traveled to Michigan and California last summer but because of his school schedule and my new work schedule, we can't really take any vacations this summer (not to mention the $$). But yeah, we both just realized that there are 2 days when we magically don't have work or school each for two freakishly different reasons, so we were like.. we gotta go camping! So we picked out the site and everything (it's the one I've been trying to get us to go to for like 6 months) ..and they're all booked up. I am like majorly bummed out. But whatever, I guess we can try to go somewhere else. Has anyone been to Deception Pass? I've heard it's pretty cool and it might even be available. I'm excited to camp, it's been entirely too long.
