long time
so i guess i'm not in a good place for the rest of the summer. i got back from new jersey with meghan monday night. it was a blast. it was great to be there for her college shower and meet all her family and see villanova. nothing really exciting happened, but it was nice to be there nonetheless. the drive back was fun with her family.
when i got home, i found a pack of capri menthol cigarettes i had been hiding under my bed on my desk. my dad talked to me about it. we had an agreement after the first time they found out i smoked that if i ever did again, i would lose a lot of freedoms. so i fucked up. im grounded for the rest of the summer except for work and school. so that kinda sucks.
but its not all that bad. they found the cigarettes because they got me a new bed which is really cool in my room. ive been working on cleaning my room now, which hasn't been too bad i guess. also, working a lot.
before i left for new jersey, i had one of the best nights ever with carolyn. we just drove around, went to tower, drove around some more, got slurpees, the usual. then we went to troy high and just bonded over nature's gift from the ground. we laid on one of my moms jackets on the ground and just talked and had an unexplainable moment. it was like, i would give anything to repeat that. it was so special there is just no explaining it. she is so right when she says that we dont need anything but ourselves. we can enjoy life without any help from any substance. which is great. i really like carolyn a lot and it was truly a great night.
so this time around, im quitting cigarettes for real. i have four packs of marlboro lights if anyone wants them.
