so its in my mind now.
sometimes when your emotions go numb for someone your senses can take you back.
smell.
touch.
taste.
sight.
sound.
and sometimes when your basic emotions tell you no, your senses can tell you yes.
just some deep thinking. for example:
JAKE CUNNINGHAM
so when jake returned my stuff (or a good 1/3 of it) to me on monday i never thought twice about it and never took the shit out of the bag. but today i thought it would be fun to wear one of the hats he gave me back. and i smelled it. and instantly i was reminded of the smell of his hair. the hat fucking smelled like jake. cigarette smoke and his hair gel. one of the things i really enjoyed about him.
the smell takes me back. as does seeing him. as i would imagine the feel of his face against mine, the taste of his lips or the sound of his voice.
but yah. just an observation.
