exciting things

1. Went to Pittsburgh and Philly with kegan to compare and contrast so we could decide which we'd want to move to.
Pittsburgh has more green space and cheaper rent, but we don't know many people there, it doesn't have much of an art community, and it lacks the resources that we both want.
Philly has a great art and theatre community, has tons of resources, is close to NYC so kegan can visit ze's siblings and I can visit friends, and we know a lot of people there. The rent is a bit more expensive, but it's flatter, so biking in town will be easier.

So I think philly won out. The real decider happened one night, we were invited to a puppet show by some really cool kids and asked if we would work the door (that kind of inclusion right away speaks volumes). We watched the shows (it had 3 separate, unique acts, and each one was astounding). It was amazing. They were funny and poignant, really interesting commentaries on the world today told in the form of fables. Honestly moved us to tears at the end.
As we walked away, we both just kind of were silent, and then said, "So philly, huh?".
So yeah, I'm pretty excited. Now it's time to be on the lookout for jobs and apartments while I finish my internship.

in the more right here and now, I should never ever not drink coffee then drive for six hours. My body hates me for it. Migraine last night, concluding in throwing up. I still feel nauseated this morning, but I've got to head to work. And I threw up right before I left work last week. I don't want to give my bosses the impression that I vomit all of the time. No bueno.

All in all though, good times.
