good days
I took yesterday off from my internship to run to Boone, as I needed very badly to get my paperwork pushed through.
It was a beautiful day, sunny and mild. I walked across town, got ice cream, wrote a short paper for my Internship application, and sat in the park in the sun for a couple of hours and read. Michal called and we went to Mellow and shared food and had beer, and got to catch up. Next I got up with Chris and Danielle, and we hung out at portofinos then at their apartment, where Jaden met us and we played an improvised game of Apples to Apples Pictionary, which was absurdly fun.
This morning I'm having breakfast with the lovely Lyudmila at Melanies.
All this, and I got my paperwork turned in, and I'm meeting with that professor later today to verify that I'm all set.
