Kegan came up to Boone, only for 2 days, but that was amazing. I hadn't seen ze in about a month (which, granted, is much shorter than the 4 months they were in spain, but still. Feel like a long time sometimes).
Athens Boys Choir and Katastrophe, two fantastic trans artists, came to Boone as well and gave a performance. I got to ride around in Katz's car for about 10 minutes trying to help him find a place to park. We had a trans 101 workshop with them, went out to pizza at Mellow Mushroom with both of them and maybe 20 other people, and then they gave a performance at nine.
It was really excellent (perhaps too short), and I got 2 cds and and another magazine called Original Plumbing (I have issue 1).
I did have a panic attack on the dance floor, which was unpleasant. It really takes a lot to make me dance, and I really wasn't feeling it last night. I was sitting by and listening, and a couple of people tried to pull me out on to the floor, and a lot of stumbling and struggling later, I was suddenly at the front and way too overwhelmed. None to pleasant, but it was short lived and the people let me retreat back in to the back. My head was in a fog for the rest of the night, after effect of adrenaline or something... Better today, still foggy.

All in all, a good weekend.
Plus! I finally figured out a good recipe for biscuits.
