Personal crafty anecdote? I'm currently working on little amigurumi characters. Some day I'd like to make a little Konata doll from Lucky Star. Or all the Utena characters!

We have lots in common- in fact on my Ravelry page some of my ami photos are posed in front of "Good Omens". <3 Neil Gaiman. I'm not a married lesbian, but I do believe in equal rights (fervently in fact) and in proper grammar and spelling, am not religious and try not to get all angsty in my journal. If I ever do I usually warn so you can skip right past.

Hi there *points at her username* three guesses what first caught by eye about your post. I loved Neverwhere as well, and as for TV shows, I love all of those.

What do you think of the new choice for Dr Who?

I'm not sure what I think of the new Doctor Choice. He looks a bit... young to me at first glance but I'm holding off my opinion until I actually get to see him in action. I didn't think I'd like the 10th doctor when he started and now I LOVE him.

My concern for the new casting is that he's got some HUGE HUGE converse shoes to fill :)

I know what you mean about Tennant. Eccelestone was so good when they brought him back I was worried, but I loved David Tennant after the Christmas Special.

I guess I am one of the give Matt Smith a try brigade :-) I look forward to his "look" as well.

Same here! I was SO skeptical of David Tennant and now I can't imagine the doctor not being him!
