stuff and truff
Well, since I see a lot of people doing this, I'll post my christmas booty. ;)
I got a lot of trash, that I keep telling my mom I DON'T want. Like a Hogwarts backpack, winnie the pooh earrings I can't wear, and wine glasses (I don't drink wine) with winnie the pooh on the stems and a crack in them. I know it's not nice to complain about GIFTS but, I tell her every year, please don't buy me things that i'm not going to use. I'd rather her save her money and buy things that SHE can use. Just the plane ticket to florida was christmas gift enough for me. I feel bad complaining like an ungrateful bratt, but I'm not trying to. I just wish she'd listen to me when i tell her not to buy me knick knacks, or jewlery or clothing unless i'm with her. I don't like to think that i'm hard to buy for, but aparently I am to my mom's perspective. I feel really bad that she spends money on all this stuff, and I can't return it b/c it's usually from flea markets, so it's money wasted that she could have saved.
Okay enough of that rant. She DID get me a really cool crystal block with an image of a fairy inside it and the stand that you put it on. She also got me a care bear doll (Funshine bear) that you squeeze and it says a few phrases. And has the voice of a pervert. ;) And a movie that i picked out while I was down there, Step Up. :) And a precon deck of magic from Coldsnap. Usually I don't like precon decks, but I don't have ANY Coldsnap yet so this was good. :)
At grams we had Christmas yesterday. It was lots of fun watching everyone else open presents. Gram ended up hiding my presents and lost them.. :( Though I know sometime I'll be getting the movie The Producers and a big package of AA batteries. Though I did get to unwrap Final Fantasy XII (with the receipt and money to get the collectors edition b/c they didn't have it), and a book series my dad picked out for Jeff. and from my brother... He has been getting everyone really expensive christmas presents ever since he got money... Well, he got me an Ipod nano with the receipt and and the extra money to get the Ipod Video one. :) i just need to go to Best buy and find it. :)
The rest of the trip was okay. The flight was fine, though we got stuck in front of 2 teenagers who'd never flown before and kept kicking the back of our seats and made so much noise and were just plain annoying to be in front of. We had a really nice guy from the Grand Cayman sitting with us. Ben and I parted ways at the airport and he took the bus back to Portland and I went to Framingham. Gram and daddy picked me up and we went back.
I got home last night around 5p. Was supposed to work and ended up not b/c they resched. for today at 7p. Not too bad. The animals all missed me. ;) They came running and Peace did her usual I love you! You're home... oh wait you abandoned me so i hate you now. ;) Max is still just as bratty as ever.
Anyways, I think i'm going to clean my bathroom today. it's quite the gross. *wrinkles nose* or watch the princess tutu i got from net flix. ;) hehe YAY!
