Real Christmas post
Well, I guess I havn't reallllly updated since I've been down here. There hasn't been much for me to say really. Last night was the first time I've done anything really productive. About all i do much of is going on line and doing wedding things since mom's really excited about everything. I found some wonderful things that I want to do. And actually a lot of my friends over on myspace have been coming here and doing things on my new community than anyone on here. Probably b/c everyone's busy with christmas stuff. Though monica's been one helpful person. ;)
Anyways. last night was the first time we actually DID stuff down here. Aside from shopping there hasn't been much of anything. We went to the fleamarket which was lots of fun. It was bigger than any in maine and actually inside a tent type thing. It reminded me of the one that we went to in ft lauderdale when I was on my class trip. That one had a circus in it. and was a lot of fun to watch. ;) This one was smaller than that, but still lots of fun. Mom got me a couple of outfits and stuff.
Last night we went to a christmas party with my cousins. I hadn't seen them in ages. Like 13 or so years ages. i'm the oldest of them all, yet i look the youngest. TIna had her 4 kids with her, and I got to play with them, showed them pictures, tried teaching Tina how todo some belly dancing, and sang a little for them. They were quite impressed with my voice, even though there was no piano, and i sounded like crap to me. Oh well. The kids opened presents and we all hung around.
We made a bunch of plans to go out tomorrow afternoon. Tina gets out of work around 3 so she's gonna drop the kids off at Cindy's house (her moms) and we're gonna do some beaching and stuff. I havn't been to the beach since i've been down here. All we do is sit in the house and watch star trek. :-/ for those of you who know me and how busy i am... you can imagine how crazy i'm going! Not to mention i spend most all of my time online, and since it's christmas and stuff, no one's online to talk to and if they are it's only for a few minutes. But hopefully that's past and i'll actually have stuff to DO. Not that i have more than today and tomorrow to do stuff...
mom's been watching the news in the morning. It's starting to get to me cuz they have the whole Christmas with the troops. As much as i'd like to NOT watch it, and think about it, Jeff is over there. And with as much free time as I have to think now, I don't want to spend it thinking about horrible things and actually pining over the fact that he's not here. i miss him a lot. He's not able to call me today but i th ink that's okay. He said he'd be able to call tomorrow though and i talked to him friday.
okay mom wants to get going. More cousins to see. :)
