discordant epiphanies
Well, Ben and I leave for florida sometime today. That trip will be quite the expedition then again, what trips of ours EVER come out the way they're supposed to? Jamie and I still need to go up to Augusta so that I can get my ID card at the place up there.
I hung out with Emica, Chris and Yun last night. It was all really great fun. I mean when the 4 of us get together things tend to get away from us and explosions happen. Went to the mall and helped Yun shop for christmas presents. (I know what she got you bobby ;) hehe) and we ran into Monica! :) yay! I think there were 7 of us at one of those little circle tables in the maul by best buy. heheh. There's no such thing as a table too small... After we then went out to dinner. We all had steak. I havn't had steak in ages so it was really good to have meat again. Then headed to my house for some hang out time.
We finally got a good picture of the 3 of us girls together on my couch. :) Good times. :) Now all we need to do is get a picture of Ben, Yun, Emica and Jamie and I all together and we'll have my wedding party all together. (speaking of which I'll write more about this later.)
Shane and Billy showed up. Everyone got to meet everyone. It was quite the party at my house last night. Complete with orgy, booze, and firefly. ;) Well, 2 outta 3 I guess. Yun had to take the 10:30 boat home so chris took her home and they left at 9:30ish. Emica and I thoroughly educated Shane and Billy of the workings of our friendships and how who is who and what. I think it was well worth introducing people. :)
It's always great when people get together again after school. I mean just hanging out and doing stuff... I miss everyone when they're gone at school. It seems like they dissappear for months then come home and everything picks back up where it left off. At least we all stay close enough to see each other when we come home and we can. I'm glad I have such great friends. :)
Okay as for wedding... I'm going to appologise to everyone now that doesn't know, but I'm getting married. If I havn't told you it's not for any reason other than, I try to tell people in person and if i havn't seen you in the past week, then there's one reason. If I know I am not going to see you for awhile, then i shoot for IM. If you don't come online often enough for me to see you when I'm ONLINE, then I tend to forget who i have and havn't told and at this point I just assume everyone knows already. But, my offical announcement here. I am engaged. We decided upon this before he left a couple weeks ago to go to Qatar. The date is July 27th. Or close to there as possible depending on bookings and such. I also didn't tell people for the first week b/c I was scrambling madly to get ahold of certain people...coughbencough... to let them know b/c they're going to be in the party. I will be posting stuff about everything when I get a chance. I'm actually thinking of doing another journal so that i can keep track of all the wedding stuff in one place. i'm not sure.
So yeah. Long post for now.
I'll be bringing my laptop to florida with me. So i don't know when or if I'll be online much, but I should be able to somewhere. I'm sure there's a coffee shop around Brandon or Ft. Meyers with wireless internet. :) In any event. Love me. :)
