Today has been rather interesting to say the least.
I drove Jamie to work this morning. And then got a migrane. Had to sit at an intersection with Brian abutting my car. That was real fun, on the way home.
Okay.. how do you deal with walking in on a boy you babysit for wearing his mom's clothing? I'm quite sure that he's going to grow up to be gay. However, his entire family is rather homophobic. Not to generalise, but they're Catholic, and not very open. And when he gets sent home for kissing boys on the playground, and notes get sent home for other "non social behaviour" I'm pretty convinced. But how do you respond to walking into his parents room to see him walking around in heels and one of his mom's skirts and blouses... and when you ask him why, he replies with... I just like it. I'm at a loss of what to do. I certainly think that it's awesome that he's like that, however, I'm afraid of what his parents might do when they find out. He's been getting a number of talkings to about being "a normal kid". They think that his playing video games is making him be a recluse and that he doesn't want to have friends b/c of it. I'm at a loss of what to do about it.
On other topics, I came home and watched charmed a bit, then Mary, Ryan, Ben and I went to the Old Port where I danced with
Cat0Dancer for awhile. It was quite fun! It's been awhile since I'd danced and we had many people stop. including a few of whom I knew. Ran into Tom and Nick. 2 jazzers that are quite fun to hang out with.
Over all, quite the improvement over yesterday.
