Which is exactly how I feel.
I'm quitting the show. I've been sick for 2 weeks so far and I'm barely getting better. I can't go to the hospital or anythign bc they have a policy that if you have an outstanding balance of 100$ or more they won't treat you unless it's really an emergency and colds aren't. apparently. *rolls eyes* I don't know what they're talkign about. I'm not happy! And I hate not having insurance anymore. I need to go back to school so that I"ll still be on under my dad's insurance policy. But I won't being doing the show b/c I think the entire thing is just too much drama for me. Too much drama and not enough musical. Not to mention Brian being there every night is starting to wear on my nerves.
On a happier note, I just got a phone call from one o fmy friends telling me about this awesome thing that happend to her. I've been waiting for this news b/c I just KNEW that it was goign to happen! :) hehehe. Also, good stuff happening to her and my being right at the same time are always wonderful mood and ego boosters. ;) hehe
On a down thing... I loathe VIP. And I <3 Auto Zone! The people there are so nice! Friday night I was on my way to rehearsal and dropping Andrew offat his moms' house and my car dies. The altinator went. OY! Not too happy about that considering i just replaced the battery on Thurs. So, I get to his moms house and they follow me over to dro it off at VIP. They tell me that they can get it into the garage around 7am and have it for me sometime before 4. Which is understandable considering next day and weekend and all. I go to work on Sat. and get a phone call saying that by the way we found 5 other major problems with your car and we're going to need to take care of them for you. It's going to be about 400$ more to do them. I get out of work around 3 and end up going home and call them. They tell me that they need to fix an oil leak and a power steering fluid leak, considering that my car DOESN"T HAVE POWER STEERING!?!?!? ^o^ and that it was going to bee about 700$ to fix it all. And on top of that, they didn't even do anythign to the altinator which is what I dropped it off for in the first place!!!! So I take the car. after arguing with the people and having to threaten to call the cops on them, they weren't goign to let me take it home!!! They said htat it was too illegal for me to be driving! So, i went to auto zone where i bought the part for about 100$ and if i return the old part I get 10$ back. And the girl there was out there for about an hour trying to put it in for me for free! ^o^ she couldn't but after she was done trying, she said hold on, let me call a garage for you, and did and they got me in Monday morning. Which is a whole other story. :)
I called the garage sunday morning and they called me back. The guy came and picked me up to drive car to their garage, and drove me home. And it's a spanish garage, so I got kudo's for speaking spanish. I drop it off, they promise to have it done by 10am so i can go to work. Ben and I walk down this morning, and at 10am, it was done. I expect it to cost about 100$ for 2 hours of labor...... instead....45$. That's all! I was stunned! Not to mention they told me that I needed a new belt as well, and if I got it they'd install it for free. WOOT! They also said that there was an oil leak and if I wanted to get the part they'd fix it for me later but no rush on that.
So, I feel a lot better all of a sudden. Not to mention, we got the futon at the apt. yesterday and the kitchen table. :) I cooked dinner and we had our real first family dinner last night at the kitchen table and we did a lot of cleaning! Only place left to unpack is now the bedrooms and the sewing/music room.
And off I am to do the babysitting thing. ;)
