So...back to work as usual

Ever since the New Year has passed, I admit that I've kind of fallen into an old habit of mine, that being to allow monotony in my craft to take over and lock myself away in the forge while I do this. I know I'm not the only child of Hephaestus who has this habit. I'm looking at two certain people who's names need not be mentioned. I swear you both ( Read more... )

I might have a project for you though I'm not sure how interesting or unique it would be.

I was wondering if you could make a necklace involving various symbols that reflect the person it's for.

I'm sure I can manage something like that. Do you wish for the necklace to be made of a particular metal? Gold? Silver? Platinum? And what are the symbols you are wanting me to create?

Gold colours don't suit him well so either silver or platinum is best. I was hoping you'd be able to craft something involving something to represent the moon, cats, foxes, an arrow, wind and plants. If it's too much you can take out the wind. I know it's a fairly abstract and difficult thing to capture in art.

ooc: Tezuka isn't picky on what symbols are used or how they're interwoven to express those but he would like if they were all there and at least somewhat identifiable if you look close enough at it. He knows he may be asking a lot.

Alright. I'll experiment and see which metal looks better for what you're wanting and go from there. I should be able to get all of that represented, including the wind. I have a few different ideas of how I could express it from some designs on the antique Greek and Roman ceramics and metalworks that we have decorating the cabin and forge. So don't worry about it, I've got it handled.

[OOC: It's a pretty detailed request that he's asking for, but Jackal can handle it. He likes projects like this that challenge his skills.]

Thank you. Though if possible, I'd prefer more Greek orientated symbols than Roman ones if you go that route.

ooc: Tezuka is a picky client.

I'll keep that in mind as I work.

[OOC: Hey, picky just means it'll keep him on his toes, so Jackal can't complain~]
