(no subject)
I've been using a Chrome extension called Must Stache lately, after being told of its existance by the rather lovely kistaro. It's an amusing little thing - it hooks into the rather powerful facial recognition API at http://www.face.com/ and adds little moustaches to the faces that show up in your web pages.
This in itself is a funny and entirely gratuitous use of which I fully approve.
Of course, there are moments of hilarity that have ensued, such as this and this, but today came the crowning moment:
So. We're sitting looking at stuff, and this image comes up.
We're having a bit of a giggle about this, working through it, and so forth, when face.com finally finishes processing it for Must Stache, and suddenly the image flashes up a new version:
This catches us completely off guard. We exchange a 'did that just happen?' look, then break out into laughter which lasts a good few minutes.
This is a little, little thing but it's completely turned my day (which was starting off pretty damn horrible and shouty and angry and frustratey) around. :D
(I am increasingly easily amused. This one I felt like sharing as an excuse to post something. Sorry!)
