Being the total sucker for romantic comedies that I am, I watched Sleepless in Seattle today, finally. It's a really quite amazingly cute film, although it's not quite When Harry met Sally, which remains about my favourite ever. This one was quite clever, though, even if it is apparently more or less a rebooting of An Affair to Remember, which I'm also going to have to look up at some point now. Mm, classic.
But. The credit music was Louis Armstrong's 'A kiss to build a dream on', and hearing that is always wonderful. Such a gorgeous song, and it has some really nice associations in there too. (some of you might know it as
the intro music from Fallout 2, if nothing else).
Now, I think I'm going to go to bed happy!
