Livejournal... Oh why, oh why did you actively choose to support embedding of non-image media?
And worse still, then not provide a placeholder option in a similar vein as you do for said images?
Because my nice understated layout and colour scheme is easily ignored when I'm sneakily browsing LJ at work, and the sudden massive white IFrame that says WEBSENSE HAS BLOCKED THIS WEBSITE because someone's embedded a YouTube video or whatnot draws much much more attention due to the contrast!
[I take it all back and prostrate myself humbly before graafen's nice shinyness. Seems that option's been added!]
(Of course, asking people to LJ-cut things would be ideal, but has a long history of not-working, even if one does tend to assume it's a point of courtesy to cut anything larger than 300x300px ;P )
