So, my head is rebelling. Woke up yesterday with a painfully dry throat, nausea, an inability to stand up straight and a resurgence of the last few days' earache. Then, upon staggering to the bathroom my nose decided to erupt with bright, arterial-looking blooood.
Not fun.
When I went to the doctor's, I couldn't actually get in to see any of them because they're quite booked up to the gills right now. Apparently I can't get an appointment until next week at the earliest. Advice was given, that being to take motion-sickness pills for the nausea and try not to move around too much.
I seem to have all the hallmarks of an inner-ear infection, but at least my stumbling uncoordinated movements are comical! As long as I don't have to carry fluid-containing vessels, then they become not just bad for me, but bad for the floor.
Yay floor. The whole thing's very weird and unsettling, though. Your body not doing what you tell it to is an odd experience. Although strangely, for the most part, I can still type. Wonder how /that/ works.
