today is a special day
today marks three years since the twins have been in our family. three years ago we went to the denver airport to pick them up. seems like we've had them forever instead of just three years. we're making a chocolate cake with white frosting on it (tastes like marshmallows sort of) and we're watching shrek!! haha i love that movie. it's so cool. donkey is me favorite :D
today was the first time i babysat anybody. liss was asked but she had to work today so i was asked. it was a 9 year old girl, who i'd sort of known. i'd seen her in the library a couple times, so i knew who she was. but it was all cool. we watched spy kids, the goofy movie 2, and secret of nim. only part of the last movie because her mom came home in the middle of it. but it was cool. we played skip-bo (or tried to at least hehe) and go fish, sport marbles, crazy eights, and ate pizza for lunch, we ate almost two whole frozen pizza's.
well, i have a job now. almost anyway. i applied at the local library and they've got my application and are diggin' it. so probably some time next week i'll have the drug test, and stuff. and then i think next month is when i start.
i drove out to wal-mart for the first time without a parent today. lane went with me, so i wasn't all by myself (rats haha jk) but it went okay. some guy pulled out in front of me when i was going almost 35 mph, so i slowed down. crazy people out there. oh well. people are people and people will never change. we'll always do weird or dorky or foolish or odd things. 'hum hm and they call us the huuuman ra-a-a-ace. oh oh ho ho ho colored people!' :p (ever heard the ghost track on TAITband's record Empty? haha it rocks.
did you guys know that tobyMac's new record is at wal-mart for only 10 bucks? man i didn't know that till a couple days ago!! i want it so bad. that Trudogg - The Return rocks! it is so awesome.
