when the gas shortage started, i had a quarter tank of gas. it was expected that the supply would be back up in a few days, so i filled up to about a half tank, and left it at that, figuring there would be more left for everyone else if we all only took what we needed.

now i'm on empty and every station is still running out as soon as they have any gas at all. everyone else is still filling all the way up every chance they get.
