1. What was the first concert you ever attended? How old were you? Where was it?
To my KNOWLEDGE, Lilith Fair in '99. Or maybe it was late '98? Fuck if I know. It was the last one. Must have been summer of '99. So then I was ..10 or 11? I can't do this math! 12? It was at Southpark Meadows.
2. What was the most recent concert you attended? Where and when?
Hummm.. The Decemberists at the Parish, June 22nd.
3. Have you ever seen your favorite artist/band in concert? Did the show live up to your expectations or were you disappointed? Yes yes. I've seen Radiohead once and Tori Amos three times. Not disappointed by either, but I think Tori was the better performer. Smaller venues, too. But Radiohead .. that was still surreal.
4. Ever been to a concert where you were pleasantly surprised at the performance? Ever been to a concert where you were totally disappointed? Hmmm. Decemberists maybe.. I mean, I didn't think they were going to be horrible--but they were surprisingly AWESOME. And Modest Mouse live kind of disappointed me. :( It was OK.
5. Name five bands that would headline your own personal festival. (Along the lines of Oz Fest or Lollapalooza)
This is a list that would be possible to get to play, as opposed to deceased or permanently disbanded groups.
