Ever sink your hands into mud?

Ahhh yes, the occasional update:

So this week...it's been a rollercoaster, like the ones at Cedar Point. Kind of rickety like the wooden Meanstreak. Fast as the Millenium Force, the nauseatingly similar feelings one experiences at the top of the Power Tower, suspended in stilled air, awaiting that dreadful drop...hoping the harness will keep as you plunge feet first into the insane crowds of individuals awaiting that fearful sight...

As most of you may know, recently I've moved into a sister's house, and have a "community bathroom" with a young boy. (I know, it sounds awful, but it's innocent.) Now, as I was raised an "only" adult, it is beyond me how to "share" with this particular child. Now I realise that sounds rather cliched along with the usual routine of the "spoiled brat" syndrome, however, those who really know me realize that is not what is in question here. I have no problem with "giving" and showing love to others. The problem comes into play when you've been raised one way, and then have to mesh in with a new crowd. This would probably not affect families with many children, but for those who have had the spotlight shined on them 24/7, you might understand more so.

It must be the "age" difference between myself & young "jones", but i ask all my guy friends this, "When did you start (I'm hoping you have already, if not-"sorry!") to realize that cleaning up after yourselves was vital?" !!! I almost stepped in juicy egg slop in the kitchen the other morning, and then bathroom floor needed mopping up from whatever yellow stuff was leaking all over the place. Yikes. Patience is a virture. Hey, at least someone liked my green "swamp" drink & salmon salad...yes, he admitted liking the green goop! hahah!

One of my co-workers mentioned I should journal the antics of this young soul & then sell it for a profit. I'd have to work under a surname...wouldnt want this getting back to the poor guy years from now, wouldn't want him to be devestated. oh well it's only in good razzing...

Oh ok, onto more productively fun things. Wednesday night was my first night in my pottery class!!!!!!!! I am so excited! ("No way Jen, You excited about pottery? We couldn't tell...")
Ahh yes, it's a nice small class; about 6 including the instructor. We're the night class at the local high school. Besides myself and one other person, everyone else has been coming for a long time, and it shows in their progress, compared to my one night of making lopsided vessels of clay. The instructor, Jeff, is a wiry, wizen man. He seems to be the type of man that is on a constant majiruna high. That or he just pronounces his words very slowly and definite. Compared to me, the caffiene addict, Starbucks fanatic that I am, I think I may have overwhelmed him with my exuberant questions...I will have to proceed in slow-mo next time. Overall, we paid our $15 for our huge hunks of clay, and Jeff showed us how to put "feet" on our misshapened "bowls", if they could be deemed that. Next time, we get to glaze them. I just cannot wait to get on the pottery wheel. So much creativity!! Let the fun begin! moo hahah.

Alas, my time is spent. I shall return again soon. gnight
