Why is it cold?

We took a train up to New Jersey where I am currently writing this. So far we saw my Uncle Chris, Grandparents on my father's side, Aunt Val, and her 3 kids Doug, Kyle, and Dustin. The youngest kid Dustin is seven and he is crazy and funny, they are all funny. We have been spending a lot of time with my Mom's friend Karen. Kusan you should remember

Is Karen also the one who taught us how to roll dates (fruit) in powdered sugar, and they didn't taste good but we liked rolling them?

Is she also part...Native American or something? Because that's what comes to mind and it may merely mean I am crazy.
