We went to our first Mardi Gras parade of the season tonight. I am collecting cups, beads, and Moonpies to add to the hotel guest baskets for Justin's graduation. Before the parade we cooked out at Dan's with some guys from the paper. Tonight I actually liked living in Mobile and felt a sense of pride for my city.
We may have some people who want to buy our house without us finishing the work. The situation is strange to say the least. The couple is our now out of the closet neighbor's ex-wife and her new husband. Apparently they are all best friends and want to live on the same street. The couple has never discussed a price with us for the house, but we are meeting tomorrow night. They looked at the house a couple of weeks ago, but never asked us what we want for the house. They already have their financing together. Justin just came inside and said the husband was cruising by our house with a truck full of beer and Mardi gras beads. He said they are really excited about the house, but still, we have yet to discuss a price. So. very. strange.
I cut about 10" off my hair, and I love it.
