Seduction of the Innocents

Teehee. They'll probably get more publicity this way than with the original campaign. So question is: Did they intend for this to happen?

Ahh...marketing.

Wow. That is both hilarious, and thanks to quotes like this: "Scaring an entire region, tying up the T and major roadways, and forcing first responders to spend 12 hours chasing down trinkets instead of terrorists is marketing run amok," Markey, a Democrat, said in a written statement. "It would be hard to dream up a more appalling publicity stunt." also very, very sad. I have a hard time believing they intended it to look like a terrorist threat. I mean, seriously. Light-up Mooninites? Just because it's giving you the finger doesn't mean it's going to explode. I really don't think that fits the sort of terrorist MO. And if they intended it, did it really fail in all those other cities? New York? Honestly. Wow. People are kind of nuts sometimes.

I normally side with the businesses for G-men being idiots, but the way they describe wires and things coming off of it... I have to be a little skeptical.
But the real tragedy is that absolutely no one in the police force watches Adult Swim. Or even pays enough attention to their kids, if their kids watch it.

I totally just realized that if the Mooninites were real, they would never shut the hell up about this.
It would be like the greatest moment of their lives that they had the whole city government terrorized for a day.

But one person described it as similar to Lite Brite. Also, its a cartoon man giving the finger.... And if you really want to get down to business, the fact is that it took 2 weeks for them to find these threats. Hmm...
